Elon Musk publicly targets civil servants he wants to fire

The beginnings of panic are felt among American officials. Nearly two weeks after the appointment of Elon Musk to the Department of Government Effectiveness, which will aim to reduce the federal budget, by President-elect Donald Trump, the boss of SpaceX began to name potential victims on the networks social.

On X, the social network he owns, Elon Musk recently revealed the names and roles of several civil servants he would like to fire, before deleting his publications.

A method which is similar to cyberstalking and which caused the deletion of the social networks of a person targeted by the South African billionaire, due to the numerous threats published by supporters of Elon Musk.

According to Everett Kelley, president of the American Federation of Government Employees, “these tactics are intended to instill terror and fear among federal employees, they are intended to make them afraid to speak out.”

Several civil servants notably told CNN that they were considering leaving their posts because of the risk of psychological and physical threats. The latter fear in particular of being targets of Elon Musk on social networks.

In the past, the boss of Tesla, X or even SpaceX, has already been accused of harassing his employees or any other person who gets in his way or who has made mistakes.
