Guest on the set of “Good Morning America” earlier this week, singer Elton John gave bad news about his health.
The singer was the guest of “Good Morning America” in order to promote his documentary called “Never Too Late” and took the opportunity to provide news on his state of health.
The singer tries to remain optimistic
Over the summer, Elton John battled with a severe eye infection caught in the south of France. The illness had also left him with fairly limited vision.
In September while he was on the mend, the artist said to himself “optimistic about the progress made”.

But his last interview called everything into question. The artist said his eyesight still hasn't recovered and he hasn't been able to see out of his right eye for months: “ And my left eye isn't the strongest either.”confided Elton John on the set.
“I can’t read anything, watch anything”
If there is a little hope left for the singer, he admits to feeling “stuck” regarding his career: “I can do things like that (interviews) but going into the studio and recording, I'm not sure, because I can't read lyrics.”
Despite initiatives to improve his eyesight, Elton John explains that he sees nothing : “I can’t see anything, I can’t read anything, look at anything.” The artist's last concert dates back to July 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden. Shortly before, the pop icon had performed at the Accor Arena in Paris.
