Guillaume Cramoisan was born in 1969. He is happily married father of two boys born in 2004 and 2008. Since Monday November 18, France 2 has been broadcasting the fourth season of The Invisibles in which the actor plays the role of Darius.
Children with tics
His two sons, aged 21 and 16 respectively, both have Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. This neuropsychiatric disease affects approximately 0.5% of the population in France. It affects boys more often than girls.
Gilles de la Tourette syndrome is characterized by motor tics linked to involuntary contractions : blinking of the eyes, shrugging of the shoulders, twitching of the mouth, shaking of the head; by sonic tics : sniffing, growling, screaming, throat clearing… There may also be behavioral problems : attention deficit hyperactivity, obsessive compulsive disorder (TOC), panic attacks, learning disorders. This disease would have a genetic component. Environmental factors could also contribute to its appearance: events preceding or shortly following birth, stress, etc.
