On this occasion, the singer of the hit Magical night agreed to confide in Evening Mag. Without going into too much detail, Catherine Lara spoke about the recent death of her younger brother. “I'm fine and yet my heart is broken. My little brother died recently and we loved each other”the artist first admitted. “He was my best friend. It's going to be very hard without him. I'm going to miss him terribly. We laughed like crazy together, we dressed up to make each other laugh”she then lamented.
“That’s not going to stop me from continuing to laugh (…) I have this joy of living within me”
A painful family ordeal on which Catherine Lara does not want to feel too sorry. “So here, I am going through a lot of sadness (…) But that is not going to stop me from continuing to laugh, to feel good. I have this joy of living within me”she said. Moreover, the one who has shared her life for years with her partner Samantha is not afraid of getting old!
Thanks to her brand new show, which she created with the Jumo company, made up of forty young dancers, she even feels rejuvenated. “I'm here, working with my 22-25 year old kids (…) I don't see the difference, I just have a few more wrinkles, that's all. Good, and also more experience and wisdom who come to play… I have the impression of living a new youth, you will see, in ten years I will be even younger!she proclaimed.
