A sudden death
The world of French cinema is in mourning. After the death of Alain Delon last August, it was the actor Michel Blanc who passed away last October. The 72-year-old actor has died a heart attack caused by anaphylactic shock severe allergic reaction, which proved fatal.

On October 10, they gathered for a final farewell to the actor during his funeral which took place at the Saint-Eustache church in Paris. This Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Thierry Lhermitte, Gérard Jugnot and Marie-Anne Chazel were invited to the microphone of France Inter radio. They then returned to the sudden death of their friend and did not fail to explain how they experienced it. “We received this as something of incredible injustice, of enormous brutality. We could not have predicted that this was going to happen” declared the actress.
“It makes us aware of certain things… Who's next? That's what we tell ourselves. There was also a strength for us to share this together, we found ourselves like when we were 20 years old . We needed each other. We found ourselves facing the reality of life.”she added before giving the floor to her comrades.
