After the announcement of the complaint against Élisa Marie Audrey Diatta, better known as D Freezy, the artist met with Mame Makhtar Gueye from Jamra to apologize. The outfit she wore during the music festival sparked many negative comments and fueled debate on social networks.
On his Facebook page, the artist solemnly asked for forgiveness from the entire Senegalese community, the NGO Jamra, the promoter Shaem Diop, the RTS and the hip-hop community. She expressed her apologies, saying: “I solemnly ask forgiveness from the entire Senegalese community, particularly: Jamra Ong Islamique, Mamadou Shaem Diop, RTS1 Senegal, my entourage and the entire hip-hop community. »
D Freezy explained her behavior by her young age, mentioning that she wanted to follow the trend and have fun, but she recognizes that this was detrimental to the RTS which had organized this music festival broadcast. She added: “It was my youth that made me behave this way. I wanted to do things for my pleasure, but I realized that it was not good behavior. For this, I apologize to everyone. I also ask RTS for forgiveness because the image I gave there is detrimental to them. They heard everything because of me, so I ask them for forgiveness. »
The artist concluded by reminding that hip-hop is an educational movement and that it is not here to encourage bad behavior, promising that from now on, his audience will see another D Freezy.
