“The Count of Monte Cristo” has just exceeded 9 million admissions at the box office. Pierre Niney must therefore fulfill a bet he made with the teams. And he has just assured, during an evening in Paris, that he indeed intends to keep his commitments!
Pierre Niney president for one evening: big announcement for the 9 million admissions of The Count of Monte Cristo
The rest after the ad
In October, we learned that Le Comte de Monte Cristo had just exceeded 9 million admissions at the box office (only A little something extra d'Artus did better this year). Thursday, November 10, Pierre Niney – who brilliantly plays the famous character of Edmond Dantès, created by Alexandre Dumas, in this feature film – assured that he was going to get the famous tattoo that everyone is waiting for, in “fortnight”.
In fact, he had promised in July on his Instagram account that he would make this bet if the film crossed the 3.5 million admissions mark. This had to be respected from the 5 million entries, as the producer of this feature film Dimitri Rassam explained on the set of C to youhe who, just like Patrick Mille, has also made this promise and already kept his commitments.
All that remains is Pierre Niney, who should, according to his Instagram polls, get a tattoo of “MC”, the initials of Monte Cristo, with a sword. Patrick Mille got a tattoo of a ship and…Edouard Philippe! This was explained by Dimitri Rassam, who had MAD tattooed on him, which is a “acronym of the WhatsAp groupp” shared with the two directors of the film: Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte.
Rain of stars for a special evening
Pierre Niney made this promise last night, during the first edition of the “Evok Collectrion x Brach” cinema awards ceremony in Paris. An evening that he chaired in the company of Dimitri Rassam and Patrick Mille, without forgetting Ana Girardot, Thomas Lavelle, Leslie Medina, Malik Frikah, Eye Haïdara, Mathilde Seigner, Philippe Caverivière, Aurélie Saada, – Laura Tenoudji-Estrosi, Sandra Sisley, Vincent Elbaz and Keren Ann.
As well as Alexandre de La Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte, the directors, and Emmanuel Sauvage (Co-founder and Managing Director of the Evok Hotels Collection group). An exceptional evening which aimed to reward the films and talents of 2024. On this occasion, 7 prizes were awarded, including that of best film for Love phew and that of best actress, awarded to Hafsia Herzi for Borgo.
