The competition continues. For several weeks, the candidates for the new promotion of the Star
Academy have very busy days. At the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys, the courses follow one another, as do the evaluations and services. This new week is marked by surprises and, this Monday, November 11, it was Michael Goldman who came to tell them that they had surprise evaluations an hour later. Each student had to draw a piece to perform and while some were quite happy with their performance, others had big doubts.
This is particularly the case of Marine, who did not hesitate to make it known openly on several occasions.
Fans of the program who have access to the live stream throughout the day were able to see the young woman complaining about her evaluation.
After this, she burst into tears, claiming to have missed everything. However, the candidate has indeed passed her assessment and she is even part of the top 3. Enough to deeply annoy Ulysse who, this Wednesday, November 13, did not hesitate to let her know. The young man was very candid in his comments, as Internet users could see. It was a Marine in tears who was seen and the latter explained to her comrades that, as soon as she entered the boys' room, Ulysses would have told her to “get out”. Enough to make her feel quite bad and she couldn't get over it.
Ulysses and Marine: a much-discussed altercation
The young man was quite angry with his friend. While talking with Charles, he made a comparison to studying. “It’s like when someone says they failed their dictation and the person gets 18/20,” he said.
Very annoyed, Ulysse subsequently understood that he had perhaps gone a little too hard with Marine. Seeing that she was really not well, he took the lead, asking her to isolate herself to talk about it. “I'm not angry, I absolutely don't blame you. It’s just sad,” he informed the young woman. An explanation which was intended to appease him but also to make him understand certain things.
Ulysse spoke to Marine without taking any precautions. He used his simile again, saying: “It's like when I was in college and people said 'I failed my exam too bad' and they were 18. It's sad”.
However, the candidate quickly understood that his feelings were not at all the same as the young woman. “Maybe you felt that way at the time, I don't blame you. Just, it's boring“, he explained. A questioning which was beneficial for his friendship with Marine.
Marine: a young woman who doubts herself a lot
Marine was at first very saddened by Ulysses' reaction. Not expecting him to ask her to leave so violently, the young woman burst into tears. “I enter the room, you tell me ‘get out’. I understand that it’s boring, I know,” she said. The candidate has great doubts about these performances and often questions herself. However, she says she understands that this can be disturbing for her classmates. “You're right, everyone tells me, that I'm too negative and that I need to stop talking“, she concluded. A discussion that ended with a hug proves that everything is better.
