Jean-Baptiste Boursier: The new joker on TF1's news has more than one string to his bow… And it pays off big!

Jean-Baptiste Boursier is one of the flagship presenters of the TF1 group. Since 2023, he has presented the morning show on LCI. And since October 2024, he has been a joker in the presentation of the 8 p.m. news on TF1 on weekdays. Almost 42 years old – he is celebrating his birthday on November 11 – he stands out in particular for his graying hair. A look that he has displayed for several years.

Let’s take a look back at the journey of the handsome PAF guy! He first studied law and English before turning to the world of media. Jean-Baptiste Boursier joined the Studio école de (Issy-les-Moulineaux) before making his radio debut on Chérie FM, then France Bleu. And, after joining in 2006, he joined the continuous news channel I-Télé from 2009. A media outlet for which he worked for two years before joining BFMTV (from 2011 to 2018).

Jean-Baptiste Boursier: this other side of him that we know less about

In 2017, Jean-Baptiste Boursier founded his own production company, Huit.Deux, in collaboration with director Alexandre Perez, with the aim of producing his own talk show on RMC Story. As the show did not meet with the expected success, the company ceased operations in 2019. However, this event made it possible to discover some details about its income. In 2020, The Letter revealed in particular that his company, in which he held 50% of the shares, paid him a gross annual salary of 152,110 euros. And the specialized media added: “After losing 135,000 euros during its first financial year, Huit.Deux had earned a profit of €208,375 during the financial year ending at the end of August 2019. These profits will be distributed between the two partners“.

As can be seen on the site societe.comwhich refers to all companies, Huit.Deux has ceased all activity since December 31, 2019. However, it is specified that the company was officially closed on July 2, 2018, more than a year earlier. Not enough to leave Jean-Baptiste Boursier in the lurch since, in addition to the large sums collected during the activity of his company, he can count on his salary from the TF1 group. An income that he has so far refused to disclose.
