After celebrating its 25th season with great fanfare last year, Le Beau vélo de RAVeL – the show dedicated to cycling, culture and meetings hosted by Adrien Joveneau and Olivier Colle – will once again crisscross Belgium from one side to the other. for eight weekends in the summer, starting July 6.
Steps
Eight in number, they are spread throughout Wallonia (Walloon Brabant and Brussels are not on the program this year). The first day will take place in Flobecq on July 6. There will then be Saint-Vith (07/13), Châtelet (07/20), Houyet (07/27), Francorchamps (08/3), Gerpinnes (08/10), Welkenraedt (08/17) and Libramont ( 24/08). Houyet and Gerpinnes are firsts. Libramont will have the particularity of taking place on a closed circuit, accessible to cyclists between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. “It will be a sort of Sunday without a car, but in Libramont. It’s a unique experience that we hope to be able to repeat in the coming years. confides Adrien Joveneau. For Francorchamps, the start will be given at the foot of the steep slope and amateur cyclists will be able to travel the official circuit of the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The guests
There may be a lot of people in Flobecq on 6/07 since Adriana Karembeu will be present. She will be present in the company of the Liège forensic pathologist Philippe Boscho. On the music side, Agustin Galiana will be on stage, with the covers group 98% Maximum Soul. On 07/13, place for Aurore Morisse (Deal concluded), Daddy K and The Planes; 07/20, Angelo Bison (actor in Public Enemy, notably), Ykons and Big Pool Saviors; on 07/27, Helmut Lotti, Kid Noize, FM Air, on 08/03, Sarah Bovy (endurance racing driver), Benny B and THX2U; 08/10, Pierre-Nicolas Marques (Bordeaux author known as Motsdumarquis on the networks), Mister Cover and Lemon Straw; 08/17 Héléna Roosen (Brainian physiotherapist who participated in Koh-Lanta), Suarez and Junes Story; finally on 08/24, Kody, Alex Germys and Lady Cover.
On August 10 and 17, a (different) surprise guest will join the Beau Vélo scene. No additional information was given, but Adrien Joveneau left a clue for the guest of 08/10: he is celebrating his 20th career. Which may bring to mind M’Pokora, Amel Bent or even Emmanuel Moire. All concerts are free. On each date, one or more members of the VivaCité team will be present. It is Sara de Paduwa who inaugurates the season in Flobecq, on 06/07.

On radio and TV
The show gains an hour on the radio on VivaCité, with C’est déjà le beau vélo, hosted between 12 and 1 p.m. by Marie-Pierre Mouligneau who rejoined the team last year. Le Beau vélo will follow on the same channel from 1 to 4 p.m. On TV, Le Beau vélo will be broadcast every Sunday at 1:40 p.m. (except 07/07 at 6:30 p.m.).
Gourmet break
New this year: Julien Lapraille will be present throughout the summer and will offer television sequences where he will meet local producers to offer you delicious local recipes.
A mook
After publishing a guide book for many years, it became a mook, that is to say an illustrated magazine with recipes, interviews… in addition to detailed routes. €20 for the paper version, €10 for the online version.
