Kate Middleton and Prince William were together at the
Festival of Remembrancethis Saturday, November 9, 2024. This marks the first major public appearance of Kate Middleton since the end of her chemotherapy last September.
The young woman seemed in great shape on the photos and took the opportunity to make a significant change. And it was Internet users who noticed,

Before this presence noticed at Festival of Remembrance,
Kate Middleton and Prince William updated their presence on social networks. On November 9, the Prince and Princess of Walesdidn't change their profile pictures on their official accounts X et Instagram that they have in common. We observe that the royal couple modified their images to make tribute to Remembrance events.
After the festival, Remembrance Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in November in the United Kingdom. King Charles leads national ceremony to honor people from the United Kingdom and Commonwealth nations
dead in battle. And now there is a new
tradition modern : change their profile and cover photos to images associated with Remembrance to establish
a solemn tone as a sign of respect. After about a week, the royals' official social accounts revert to previous photos.
A change symbolizing a tradition
Prince William and Princess Kate reveal new profile photo: it's a picture of them together
during the Festival of Remembrance last year at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Indeed, the Royal British Legion organizes this annual festival to honor the service and sacrifices of British and Commonwealth military personnel. Kate Middleton was there well again this year, symbol that his cancer remission is going well.
In the cover photo on X, they opted for a field of poppies ceramic, symbol of events. Every November, members of the royal family incorporate poppies into their wardrobe in homage to the events. Regarding the photos, King Charles and Queen Camilla also did it. On November 9, the King and Queen team changed their profile pictures on
X, Instagram et Facebook using a photo from their participation in a Remembrance ceremony at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, Canada, in 2009. The image has previously been used on social media for Remembrance Day, including last year. “Let us never forget.” can we read on their cover photo, a field of wild poppies, on X.
