Jay-Z and Beyoncé know how to have fun. The couple has just bought an exceptional house of 2780 square meters, on the heights of Malibu (California), for the modest sum of 200 million dollars. The information would come from a real estate agent close to the TMZ media. With this acquisition, the couple become owners of the most expensive house in the state of California, eclipsing the previous record of 177 million dollars. It is also the second most expensive property in the United States behind a New York apartment estimated at $238 million.
An architectural gem
For this price, the house is necessarily not like the others. The 2780 square meters of this splendid residence are perched on a cliff in the most chic district of Malibu, north of Los Angeles. The house overlooks the Pacific Ocean in Paradise Cove Bay, also known as “Billionaires’ Bay”.
In addition, the place was entirely designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who also designed Kanye West’s house in Malibu.
