Aurélie Casse concerned by an illness which affects 10% of the population: “I wondered if I wasn't…”

From Hollywood stars to French personalities, no one escapes Gaëtan's devouring curiosity to tell stories. Feeding on Star Academy and Sous le soleil, like any good self-respecting millennial, he now takes great pleasure in deciphering PAF broadcasts. His guilty pleasure? Watch old episodes of the show Strip Tease over and over again.

When she was on BFMTV, Aurélie Casse encountered enormous moments of stress. To the point of suffering physically. She tells.

The rest after the ad

In 2023, Aurélie Casse joined the team of C to you as a columnist. Revealed to the general public on BFMTV, where she became one of the emblematic faces of the news channel, the journalist chose to join the public service. She worked alongside Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine before taking the reins of C the weeklybroadcast every evening from 7 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. on 5. A departure that was surprising at the time. Indeed, while she seemed to have integrated perfectly into the group led by the one who had a complicated year, the journalist made the decision to leave C to you after only four months on the show. A choice that she had defended in the columns of the magazine 7 Days .

Rumors of disagreements have persisted since this professional separation. A subject which was raised by Buzz TV journalists during an interview with Aurélie Casse. “We have discussed tensions in recent months with Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine…”asked Sarah Lecoeuvre in front of the journalist who was quick to respond. “That's nonsense, I think it's for clicks. And because also, I come back to that, perhaps because as we are two women we obviously have to get along badly, I wonder if there isn't a little macho undertone behind it. But no, not at all, I can just say that it's nonsense.”said the one who recently faced Romane Dicko, slightly annoyed by these rumors. A clarification which should finally silence the evil tongues!

“I think it was the most stressful moment of my career, that’s for sure”

If she now flourishes on France Télévisions, Aurélie Casse had a good time on BFMTV, where she was one of the most prominent presenters of the time. However, if on the surface everything seemed to be smiling on the young woman, stress and anxiety were extremely present in her daily life. The latter also remembered during an interview with Buzz TV that day when she received Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Eric Zemmour. “All day long, I know I was extremely stressed”she confides to journalists. “I had incredible back pain. I couldn't stand in my chair […] I wondered if I was getting a kidney stone from stress.”she adds to her interlocutors, totally stunned by such revelations. Indeed, renal lithiasis is a disease that affects 10% of the population. Ultimately, the show went extremely well and the audiences were very good, this did not prevent the host from remembering this sequence as one of the most distressing of her life: “I think it was the most stressful moment of my career, that’s for sure”. A rather difficult period therefore even if it allowed Aurélie Casse to establish herself as an emblematic figure of the PAF.
