Tension rises between King Charles III and Prince Andrew: the Duke of York is determined to stay at the Royal Lodge

For several months, tension has been growing between King Charles and Prince Andrew. Indeed, the British sovereign wants his brother, Prince Andrew, who has fallen into disgrace following his links with the Epstein affair, to leave the Royal Lodge (for which he has a rental contract until 2078, Editor's note) to move into a smaller…and less expensive home.

Since that moment, a real standoff has ensued between the two brothers. Initially, King Charles decided not to renew the security contract planned for the Royal Lodge. A few months earlier, work had been carried out in the house and Prince Andrew had been asked to leave the premises. Which he categorically refused, for fear of not being able to live there even once the renovations were completed. Finally, a few days ago, we learned that the King had also decided to withdraw the annual allowance intended for Prince Andrew. The latter amounting to one million pounds sterling, this is a big loss of income for the Prince.
