For several weeks, a controversy concerning Julien Lieb has shaken social networks. Fans, apparently eager to see their idol appear among the top places in the charts, reportedly spent money on eavesdroppingreports Ciné Télé Revue.
Faced with this situation, the former candidate of the Star Academy therefore chose to speak out. It was via a message published on his Instagram channel that the singer clarified the situation.
It's forbidden to do that
“There are stream purchases that have been made on some of my tracks. Know that this is not going to help me, you are putting a huge bullet in my foot, I am talking to those who could have done this. It refuses me entries in playlists on platforms, potentially on radio, and it can boycott sounds. It's forbidden to do that. I want to be clear: it is not possible to do this“, he first explained before adding: “I'm counting on you to support my music in an authentic way: listen to it, share it and talk about it around you. Your sincere support is what helps me the most“.
And to continue: “You just have to listen to the sound whenever you want. It would be a shame to spoil the sequel. I hope I've been very clear, this doesn't have to happen. Things will go well. Doing this is insulting my work and that of my teams. Take care of yourself, see you next time!“A speech widely applauded by his admirers.
Julien Lieb supported by his fans
“Julien is absolutely right to have a rant because what's more, because of that, he's taking the heat unfairly! He clearly has nothing to do with it and therefore does not deserve to pay for people's actions!“, an Internet user on X (formerly Twitter) was indignant.
“Julien pays for a small group of people. Perhaps people who seek to harm him, we don't know. The best way to respond to this message is to go pre-save his next single which comes out on 11/15 and show him that he is really supported“, added another. Fingers crossed that the message gets across!
