After releasing his duets album in 2023 at 2 to 3certified double platinum in less than a year, Vianney unveils a new title, Where do I go, in collaboration with Rosa Linn, an Armenian singer, who became known in particular with her title SNAPreleased in 2022. But as a reminder, he is not just a brilliant singer. He does not hesitate to sometimes abandon the stage for his other life. Because for those who don't know, Edgar's dad (born in October 2021 from his love affair with cellist Catherine Robert) studied at the Ecole Supérieure et Technique de la Mode (ESMOD) in Paris, a prestigious establishment training in the fashion professions since 1841 and the oldest fashion school in France.
He learned to sew and design clothes there, and graduated in 2014. An experience which then served him to create his own brand, TRUE, with the help of his mother, whom he mentioned in an Instagram story this Tuesday, November 5, during a photoshoot.
Vianney, artist committed to his projects
“Writing a song, imagining a piece of clothing, these are two ways of telling stories”we can read on the site. Through this project, Vianney lets all his imagination speak, and can transcribe, through his pieces, his own universe, “imbued with the desire for narration and winks to artists”.
We also find “references from Matisse or Braque through the simplicity of the line, the free forms and a concrete work of color which transmit a graphic and powerful discourse with naive and poetic touches”. Launched on June 21, 2021, this clothing brand is also very supportive: “All profits generated by sales are donated to general interest associations which work to support and accompany disadvantaged people or inclusion and solidarity projects “.
As well as environmentally friendly: “Today, 100% of our references are made from natural or organic materials. Our shipping boxes are 100% recyclable, 100% compostable and made from recycled materials”. A great example!
