A trip that Laeticia Hallyday will remember. The latter is in Vietnam for a few days as part of son
association, The lucky starwhich has been working for more than 10 years to provide children in difficulty with decent living conditions by giving them access to care, schooling and food.
It is precisely for a mission of this association that Laeticia Hallyday went to the Go Vap Orphanage,
one of the largest orphanages in Ho Chi Minh. The establishment has the particularity that more than 80% of the orphans housed there have a disorder or handicap (down syndrome, autism, blindness, etc.). Laeticia Hallyday's last visit to this orphanage dates back to before the 2020 pandemic and it was therefore moved that Jade and Joy's mother found the place, and some of its tenants.
Laeticia Hallyday: these reunions which warmed her heart
Indeed, during her mission, the latter crossed paths with May, a young girl she met before Covid, who seemed just as delighted as Laeticia about this reunion. “Emotional moment finding Maythis little girl with a big smile who has grown so much since the last time I saw her, before Covid. Seeing her again today, so full of life and courage, reminds me why every gesture counts in our mission. This reunion is a real gift and further strengthens my commitment to these children”indicated the former model, sharing a video with the main interested party. Laeticia Hallyday appears there with a mask, while her eyes reveal great emotion.
Laeticia Hallyday talks about her emotion on returning to Vietnam
An upheaval that Johnny's widow mentioned in another Instagram story, dedicated to the work of her association. “
Moved to return to Vietnam for this mission which is so dear to my heart. Reuniting with our teams, the children, and seeing everything that my association “La Bonne Etoile” is achieving on the ground fills me with gratitude and strength. Thank you to everyone who makes these concrete and hopeful actions possible. Every moment spent here is a reminder of the importance of acting together,” wrote Laeticia Hallyday on November 5. Obviously, Vietnam holds a very special place in this mother's heart since it is there that her daughters, Jade and Joy, were born.
