For a time, she left doubts lingering. Asked about her alleged romance with her former client Johnny Depp, then in the middle of the trial against Amber Heard, lawyer Camille Vasquez simply responded with a burst of laughter, in May 2022. Two and a half years later, the latter however clarified things in an interview with the Extra television channel on Friday 1is november. The forty-year-old thus assured that she had never had a romantic relationship with the actor.

“I would never do that,” she said. Let me tell you officially. I never dated Johnny Depp. I would never date Johnny Depp. I think he’s a charming person… But he’s not my type.” Before adding, about their first exchange: “I remember that after maybe 30 or 40 minutes of conversation, I came out of my body a little, I looked at him and I thought: “ He sees the world in such a different way than I do.” He’s definitely using a different part of his brain, he’s such an artist.” The lawyer, for her part, allowed the hero to Pirates of the Caribbean (2003) to win his case. Amber Heard was thus ordered to pay 10.4 million dollars (9.5 million euros) to the latter. The actor, for his part, had to pay 2 million dollars (1.8 million euros) to his ex-wife.
