The program for this 11th edition of Polycopies will bring together, for 5 days, the actors and makers of photo books: publishers, photographers, authors, collectors, art schools, institutions and international cultural centers.
The extension to the Banks of the Seine makes it possible to once again offer a rich program of events, free portfolio readings, round tables and meetings with, this year, two major focuses:
The art of the photo book:
Polycopies invites two of the most prolific creators of contemporary photo books to immerse us with them in the process of making a book. The floor is given to Bernard Plossu and Paul Graham to hear and learn how they thought about, constructed and produced their photo books throughout their career.
The photography book for children:
Following the success of the first meeting organized in 2023, Polycopies continues the exciting discovery of the photography book for children. This year, we are giving carte blanche to the Dutch artist Jan von Holleben of the Kids Love Photography association and to Laurence Le Guen, academic and exhibition curator, to host a cycle of meetings.
From Wednesday November 6 to Sunday November 10, nearly a hundred publishers and booksellers from France and around the world will be installed on board the Concorde Atlantique boat and on the adjacent quays.
