Toni Cornell is very angry against the tabloids and especially TMZ. Indeed, Chris Cornell's daughter finds it unacceptable that the American media took the liberty of publishing photos of the remains of Liam Payne, who fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires.
“I feel compelled to speak out regarding the disturbing and disgusting photos published by TMZ, including graphic images of his hotel room and body,” she wrote in an Instagram story relayed by the NME.
A situation which painfully reminds her of the trauma she suffered during the tragic disappearance of her father.
The shock of the photos
“When I was 12, I came across similar photos of my father while scrolling on my iPad, and it was indescribably traumatic,” continued Toni Cornell, whose father died by suicide in May 2017. “TMZ did not still haven't had the decency, seven years later, to remove these photos from the Internet. Even though the images of Liam have since been deleted, that doesn't change anything. They should never have been published, and it breaks my heart to think that her seven-year-old son Bear might one day stumble upon them and suffer exactly as I suffered. »
TMZ has indeed deleted the photos from its site, but they are still circulating on the Web.
