In 2022, the son of King Charles III had to endure a small snub from his youngest, Prince Louis. This September day, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, were filmed as they took their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, for their return to the private Lambrook preparatory school, in England.
When Prince Louis does as he pleases
While walking hand in hand with his daughter Charlotte, 7 years old, the Prince of Wales had extended his other hand towards little Louis. The little boy, who was holding his mother’s hand, then ignored his father by looking straight ahead. Ouch!
Amused, William ended up accepting defeat and placed his hand on his son’s head as a sign of affection. But here again, Louis did as he pleased! Obviously determined to go to school like a grown-up and without the support of his father, the little boy frantically shook his face to move Prince William’s hand away. Double ouch!
Schooling without a hitch for the little prince
Regardless, the start of the school year ultimately went very well. Now aged 6, little Louis is attending Lambrook School without a hitch, just like his two eldest children, George and Charlotte.
Located in the charming county of Berkshire, not far from the official residence of the couple of Wales, the Lambrook School is a private school whose tuition fees are £53,000 (around €63,500) per year. Covering an area of 21 hectares, it includes a golf course, a swimming pool and a small farm. Children have to take care of bees, chickens and pigs.
