This song is a little special for Kendji Girac. “The story of the song is incredible to me,” he confided before remembering a very specific day: “It was on the way back, leaving the hospital. I was in the ambulance, I was going home and I tried to sing a song to see if I could do it.” While he was afraid of never finding his voice again, Kendji Girac was reassured. “I started singing this hymn loudly and now I see that I can sing, my voice is still there. She is as good as she should be,” he continued, relieved.
Kendji Girac: an artist who almost lost everything
In the ambulance, Kendji Girac was next to Alban, his friend and manager. When he discovers that his voice is still present, the singer cannot believe it. “We both start crying,” he remembers.
