“A bit silly to say it”, Gille Lellouche doesn’t …

Gilles Lellouche didn’t know where to stand when Adèle Exarchopoulos sang his praises on the set of Quelle époque! on October 12.

Six years later The Great BathGilles Lellouche goes behind the camera a second time.
His new film, Love phew, in theaters on October 16, is the adaptation of the eponymous novel by Irish author Neville Thompson. The action of the book, located in Dublin, is transposed to the screen in the north of France from the 1980s.

The feature film follows the story of Jackie and Clotaire,

Taking advantage of having Gilles Lellouche on his set,
Léa Salamé
took out files from his archive cupboard. Images from the distant past are particularly
made Gilles Lellouche uncomfortableespecially in the way they were teased by the host of the show.

The latter in fact asked François Civil and Adèle Exarchopoulos if they knew that the director had acted in commercials. Gilles Lellouche was then asked to react to one of these spots broadcast a long time ago on television. “You had to have a hard time, madame!”he justified himself. A short moment of uneasiness swept away by the opening of the “files” of its actors…
