Young people were in the spotlight this October 9, in New York. For its fifth edition, Time 100 Next invited numerous celebrities to come and beautify the red carpet at Chelsea Pier. The event aims to pay tribute to young stars, those who have great careers in the making. The opportunity for each of them to highlight their respective industries.

The editor-in-chief of “TIME”, Sam Jacobs, had in an article mentioned the interest of this evening, particularly with regard to gender equality and that between generations: “TIME 100 Next has no conditions of “age, its objective is to recognize that influence has no influence either, and that leadership no longer resembles what it once was” he wrote before adding that the majority of people on the list this year are women.

Rhinestones and glitter at the rendezvous

“Tall Girl” star Sabrina Carpenter arrived at the photocall in a strapless silver rhinestone dress. A fitted outfit highlighting her wasp waist to which the young blonde added red lipstick. Singer Victoria Monet also played the seduction card in a backless red dress with a train.

The interpreter of Mindy in “Emily in ” Ashley Park wore a long crew-neck dress with black and gold rhinestones. The 24-year-old actress Renée Rapp, for her part, presented herself in a rather original ensemble: she combined a sportswear jacket with a skirt. Alongside them, the director and actor of the mini-series “Mon Petit Rene” Richard Gadd, the Irish Nicola Coughlan and the American basketball player Jaylen Brown were there, the latter accompanied by his mother.

The actresses Kat Graham and Adria Arjona but also the American model Kaia Gerber were also invited to the evening. The gala also honored advocates, leaders and innovators from several fields, such as activist Marlene Engelhorn and Dr. Mehreen Datoo.
