At Léa Salamé’s microphone, the two women spoke about their personal lives as well as their relationship to the question of motherhood. “When you’re single and you don’t have kids, do you think you’ve missed the boat?”asked the journalist to Béatrice Dalle.

A subject addressed by the actress with her legendary outspokenness. “So, really not. I totally disagree with that! You know, I’ve heard so much in my life, ‘the biological clock’, all that bullshit… As for me, my life as a woman is important. I have succeeded in my life because I don’t have childrenshe explained. A statement which underlines the diametrically opposed visions of the two women present on the set.

For his part, Valérie Trierweiler seems to attach great importance to her family life and her status as a mother. As a reminder, the journalist is the mother of three children, Anatole, Lorrain and Léonard, all born from her previous union with Frank Thurieau, journalist and author. A situation which does not seem to have prevented the journalist from successfully pursuing her professional career.

In reaction to Béatrice Dalle’s comments, Valérie Trierweiler explained that if she had succeeded in life, it is above all because she has children. A very distinct approach from that of the actress.
