It was on September 29, 2024 that her phone rang and she learned that her mother had just been the victim of an accident. According to exclusive information from Closer, it was his stepfather, Pierre, who learned that his mother Françoise Thibaut had just broken the neck of her femur and that she had been admitted to hospital. Faced with this tragedy, Laeticia Hallyday therefore decided to shorten her stay and immediately went to Cap d’Agde.

On the morning of September 30, Laeticia Hallyday was at her bedside when she left the operating room where she underwent hip surgery. Reunited in this painful moment, the two women were able to count on each other as has rarely been the case.
Indeed, when her parents divorced, Laeticia Hallyday, suffering, cut ties with Françoise whom she described as “bourgeois from a background of pharmacists and surgeons.” She then preferred a more rock’n’roll lifestyle, first with her father, the owner of a nightclub in Florida, then by marrying Johnny Hallyday. It was when the idol of young people died that mother and daughter reconnected and made up for lost time. They also found themselves around Jade and Joy. And it is therefore together that they will go through this ordeal.

Proof that good understanding has returned to their home, Laeticia Hallyday made a beautiful declaration of love to her mother for her birthday. ““So essential to my life, so sunny. She is all tenderness, generosity, gentleness and kindness and that is what unites us forever. I love you more than words can say, mom.. . I send you butterfly kisses”, she declared.
