The evening started off beautifully with the gorgeous Jenifer, elegant in a black ensemble and a circus-inspired jacket that immediately caught the attention of the photographers. Shortly after, Catherine Deneuve made her entrance with a sophisticated look, sporting a sparkling sequined jacket and black pants. Laetitia Casta, freshly back from Milan, captivated the eyes in an ultra-sexy black bodysuit, adding a touch of glamour to the event. Omar Harfouch, the man behind this event, is a French-Lebanese pianist whose career is as fascinating as his music. Born in Tripoli and marked by the horrors of war, he found refuge in the pianowhich became his savior. At 17, he won a piano competition and continued his training in the USSR before launching into journalism and business in Ukraine. At the age of 55, Omar Harfouch has now turned to music, composing pieces inspired by his experiences and the dramas of the world. The Concerto for Peace is not only a musical event, it is also a project imbued with meaning. For Omar Harfouch, this evening aims to promote peace through music. He had explained that he had decided not to make the concert public for “security reasons”, due to the presence of many personalities. But he wanted to share this special evening surrounded by his family and his wife Yulia Lobova, whom he has been married to since 2014.
