The equipment manufacturer, specialist in lithium-ion batteries, ForseePower sees its activity boosted by demand in the market for traction batteries in the field of industrial vehicles (+70% in turnover in the first half of 2023 compared to the 1er semester 2022).
The group based in France but also in Asia and North America, thus achieved during the first half of 2023 78.8 million euros in turnover. ForseePower generates 65,474 million euros in turnover in industrial vehicles for 13,323 million in light vehicles (growing, but less spectacular, with +18% vs 6 months 2022).
Christophe Gurtner, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Forsee Power declares himself confident in the achievement of the 2023 objectives of 160 million euros in turnover.
Bodybuilders are of interest to ForseePower, as evidenced by the contract with Mathieu (Fayat group) for the group’s sweepers and washers.
The only downside for ForseePower is the gradual withdrawal of Iveco Bus, which is now required to source lithium-ion batteries from Microvast (via FPT Industrial and its battery pack assembly site in Turin, Italy). Conversely, the equipment manufacturer has won contracts with the Egyptian MCV and the French Bolloré (BlueBus division).
