The team made the announcement in a brief press release Wednesday morning.
The Habs also indicated that forwards Joel Armia, Josh Anderson and Patrik Laine and defenders Kaiden Guhle and David Savard benefited from a day of treatment. They therefore did not participate in the team’s training on Wednesday morning at the CN Sports Complex.
They were all in uniform Tuesday night, when the Canadian defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 at the Bell Centre.
The Canadian will visit the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday evening.
For his part, Beck, who is originally from Port Hope, Ontario, returns to the ranks of the Canadiens’ farm club after playing two games with the Habs.
-In two games with the Canadian, Beck did not collect any points and was used for a little more than seven minutes per game.
The 20-year-old forward has 25 points, including nine goals, in 37 outings with the Rocket this season.
The Rocket hosts the Hershey Bears Wednesday evening at Place Bell.
