The game between the Bears and the Rocket will be presented Wednesday at 7 p.m. on RDS and RDS.ca
After a brief two-game stay with the Montreal Canadiens, Owen Beck was transferred to the Laval Rocket on Wednesday morning.
Called in as reinforcement before the match against the New York Rangers on Sunday, the 20-year-old striker did not register his name on the scoresheet in two games with the Habs.
Head coach Martin St-Louis said the team has no plans to make another call-up, which means Michael Pezzetta will be back in the lineup for the next game.
“Right now, we’re going to go with what we have,” St-Louis simply summed up.
With the Rocket since the start of the campaign, Beck has compiled 25 points in 37 games.
-The Canadian’s second-round pick in 2022 could be in uniform for the visit of the Hershey Bears on Wednesday at Place Bell.
For his part, Pezzetta will play his 11th game of the season against the Detroit Red Wings. He has still not collected a point since the start of the campaign.
Martin St-Louis also confirmed that Samuel Montembeault will be his starting goalkeeper on Thursday.
Also, the day after the victory against Tampa, several Canadian regulars were conspicuous by their absences due to different treatments.
Patrik Laine, Josh Andersom, Joel Armia, Kaiden Guhle and David Savard were not on the ice at the Brossard training complex with their teammates on Wednesday morning.
