“Will there be a train from to this evening? »asks an exasperated traveler on social networks. And for good reason, the trains of the SNCF line Paris-Rouen- were severely disrupted on the evening of Wednesday January 22, 2025, with huge delays and deletions to the key.

A breakdown wreaks havoc in Saint-Lazare

On social networks, Nomad, the train network, communicates on the reasons for this messdue to “facilities at Paris Saint-Lazare station on the Paris--Cherbourg and Paris-Rouen-Le Havre line”.

As a result, since the evening rush hour, cancellations and delays have been piling up. At the time of writing, many trains display delays ranging from 30 minutes to more than 2 hours.

Resumption estimated at 11 p.m.

Unsurprisingly, the trains that arrive are crowded, as this Rouen resident on X (ex-Twitter) testifies: “The transport conditions are inhumane. Several trains canceled in the Paris-Rouen direction. The first train to leave is full to the brim. People are crushed on top of each other.”

For the moment, the normal resumption of trafficst expected for 11 p.m. Nomad invites travelers in difficulty to postpone their trip if possible and to refer to the exchange and refund conditions on the dedicated site.
