The Léger survey firm surveyed just over 16,000 Quebecers aged 16 and over last fall to measure satisfaction with the shopping experience at more than 240 retailers in Quebec.
The one that received the best satisfaction score was the Ontario musical instrument chain Long & McQuade.
Among Quebec businesses, tea retailer Camellia Sinensis is the one that obtains the best satisfaction score.
To indicate the level of satisfaction of each retailer, Léger gives it a score out of 100, called the Wow index.
This index takes into account around twenty criteria, including consumer perception regarding:
-- product quality;
- price competitiveness;
- the competence of employees;
- the atmosphere in the store; And
- the feeling of belonging.
