Here’s his favorite show of all time (and he starred in it!)

David Boreanaz is not the type to rest! Since the start of his career, the actor has only had rare moments of break, preferring to play a series of roles. Revealed to the general public in Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the role of Angel in 1997, he was then entitled to his own series with Angelbroadcast on American television between 1999 and 2004. The following year, it was in the role of Seeley Booth that we found him in Bones. Visiting the Monte Carlo Television Festival in June 2024, David Boreanaz raised the possibility of a sequel to the detective series. The 55-year-old actor also revealed his unconditional love for SEAL Teamhis series which ended in November 2024. If the character he plays in this fiction, available on Paramount+, is the favorite of his career, that’s not all!

David Boreanaz: why SEAL Team is his favorite series of all time

While Tele-Leisure asked him about his favorite series of all time, David Boreanaz did not hesitate long before mentioning SEAL Team. In this fiction, he plays Jason Hayes, leader of a team of Navy SEALs who intervene all over the world during high-risk missions. Although the series was difficult to film, the actor only has good memories of this fiction. “SEAL Team is truly my favorite series of all time, you won’t find a military series that has done what we have done.” explained David Boreanaz who added: “I can compare the series to any film of its kind: we shot these action sequences just as well, if not even better“. According to the actor, even if the action is there, it is above all by taking into account the perspective of these soldiers that SEAL Team is doing well.”It’s hard and rough, we don’t play. These characters have a mission and must succeed. Failure is not an option for a Navy SEAL. And then there is this emotion, the fact that they are accepted and respected, the things they suffer from..
