What programs qualify for scholarships?

More than 300 study options are eligible for scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year.

Among these, there are 30 techniques at CEGEP, including those in special education, nursing, architecture and engineering of all kinds (example: civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering).

What scholarships are offered?

At college, the financial aid granted totals $9,000 for a three-year technical program. An amount of $1,500 is then paid for each session.

On the university side, the planned scholarships are $15,000 for a three-year program and $20,000 for training spread over four years. In both cases, an amount of $2,500 per session is granted for each eligible person.

Please note that these amounts are awarded only after each successful full-time session in the training targeted by the Perspective Québec scholarship program.

Who is eligible for the Perspective Québec scholarship program?

Students who follow one of the approximately 300 college and university courses selected by the Perspective Québec program.

At the time of publishing these lines, the Quebec government has not announced whether this assistance will be renewed for the 2025-2026 school year. Narcity Quebec will update this article when a response is obtained to this effect.

Currently, only people registered full-time in targeted training programs can receive this financial assistance. And this, “whether they are at the beginning of their journey, in the middle or at the end”.

  • be a person considered to be a resident of Quebec;

  • have finalized your part-time study session if it began this way, while having the status of person deemed to be studying full-time according to the criteria that apply to your situation. Also, anyone wishing to receive this financial assistance must respect the maximum number of eligible sessions depending on their level of study. It goes as follows:

  • At college, the maximum number of sessions is set at six;
  • At university, this varies from six to eight sessions for the first cycle. For the 2nd cycle, the limit is five and for the 3rd cycle, up to 15 sessions

How to apply for financial aid?

If you are studying in one of the programs on the list, you can apply to claim what you are entitled to now.

Please note that eligible individuals, having successfully completed their full-time fall 2024 session, have until February 28, 2025 to submit their application online via the Perspectives Québec scholarship program website.

If you have already made a request in the past, please note that it is not automatically renewed. You must therefore make a new one after each successful full-time (or deemed full-time) session in your program according to the conditions detailed previously. A delay of ten working days is expected for processing your request.
