Interviewed as part of the promotion of her new play, MurmurLaurence Arné confirmed having been in a relationship with the director “until last summer. A love story to be linked to the past although it was marked by deep mutual respect. Mother of a little boy named Raphaël, born in 2012, she was the step-mother of large siblings throughout her relationship with Dany Boon. Indeed, the actor and director is the father of four boys, Mehdi, Noé, Eytan and Élia born to three different mothers as well as a daughter Sarah, whom he had with his last wife and mother of two of his sons, Yael Harris.

The opportunity for Laurence Arné to return to this co-parenting in the columns of La Tribune du Dimanche: “I don’t focus on the family at all because it can also generate a lot of frustration, a lot of suffering for those who end up living in self-sacrifice” she begins before continuing: “You have to be careful not to sacrifice yourself and forget your personal development. I experienced it with my son’s father and with all my other partners. If you are no longer in tune with your emotions, with your principles, it is better to separate” she says, revealing the reasons for her separation from the actor.

However, last November, the magazine Here is had hinted at other reasons for this separation. “They did not intend to have a child together, but Laurence was expecting a marriage proposal which did not come…” had confided a relative in the columns of this same magazine. A lack of commitment which could also be the cause of the end of their relationship with each having divergent visions about their future.
