Since its invention, Hawaii pizza has been debated. For Italians, for example, it is unthinkable to put pineapple on pizza. And it seems that for the owners of Lupa Pizza restaurant, this is the case too. This pizzeria located in Norwich, in the east of England, displays its Hawaii pizza at 100 pounds sterling (or around 120 euros) on Deliveroo. The rest of the pizzas are displayed at a normal price.
“I really hate pineapple on pizza.”restaurant co-manager Francis Woolf told local newspaper Norwich Evening News. This is why he implemented a humorous way to dissuade his customers from ordering a Hawaii pizza. On Deliveroo, we can read in the description of this dish: “Yes, for £100 you can have it. Order the champagne too! Go ahead, you freak!”
