During the month of December 2024, these are 22.622 passenger vehicles and light utility vehicles (VP+LCV) which found buyers, compared to 17,518 units sold in December 2023, an increase of around +29,14%. A month during which BYD signed, for the fifth time in a row, the best performance on the market in terms of growth!
In detail, the passenger vehicle (PV) market recorded an increase of around +28,6% with 20.398 units sold in December 2024, compared to the month of December 2023 during which 15,861 units were sold.
The light utility vehicle (LCV) market is also experiencing an increase of around +34,22% with 2.224 units sold in December 2024 compared to 1,657 vehicles sold a year earlier.

PEUGEOT on the podium
In terms of the Top 10 of the general market, the month of December was mainly positive: 8 brands saw their sales increase, while two declined. The leader DACIA records a new positive result of the order of +35,47%thanks to 4.850 units elapsed.
RENAULT remains once again in second position and this time records the best increase in this Top 10 with +83,39%. During the past month, the diamond brand sold 2.925 units.

Just behind, PEUGEOT seizes the third place lost in September despite a decline of -2,6%. The lion brand has sold out 1.907 vehicles.

In the rest of the ranking, OPEL gained two places and found itself in 4th position. The blitz brand sold 1.400 units and progresses by +26,93%.

ŠKODA also made a jump of two ranks and now occupies 7th place. The Czech brand recorded an increase of +32,18% thanks to the 686 vehicles sold.
The bad operation of the month is to the credit of HYUNDAI which recorded its worst ranking of the year in December, despite an increase of +22,08%. Demoted to 8th position, the South Korean brand has sold 658 units.

AUDI reigns supreme
In the Premium market, AUDI ends the year in the leadership chair. Over the past month, the ringed brand has sold out 539 units and progresses by +15,17%.
