In the Premier League, Mohamed Salah and Eden Hazard are often compared by supporters in endless debates. The two men are taking it rather well.
Who was the best player at his prime ? The question constantly comes up when comparing football legends, in these debates constantly wanting to tip the scales towards one player or the other.
In this little game, Eden Hazard and Mohamed Salah are among the players often ‘opposed’ by Premier League fans. This must make them laugh: the two men have remained good friends.
A relationship that lasts
In an interview with TNT Sports, Salah was asked about his best friends in football. Before citing his Liverpool clique (Kostas Tsimikas, Dominik Szoboszlai, Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson), he mentions Eden Hazard.
“Eden and I are very good friends. When we see each other, we have so much fun.” Enough to recall the scene dating from the preparation meeting for the 2022 World Cup, where the two men are captains and talk for a long time before kick-off.
Hazard and Salah got to know each other Chelsea. The Egyptian joined the Blues in 2014 from FC Basel, Eden then took him under his wing. If Salah had to exile himself from Stamford Bridge to really explode, he obviously doesn’t only have bad memories of the adventure.
