The National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Mapping (ANCFCC) held its board of directors on December 25, 2024, under the chairmanship of Ahmed El Bouari, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests.

This session, marked by the participation of Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the National Defense Administration, was an opportunity for Karim Tajmouati to present the achievements of the past year. These results highlight exceptional performances which reflect the dynamic of modernization and economic contribution of the agency.

In 2024, the ANCFCC has recorded progress in several strategic areas. Across the Kingdom, 373,000 new land titles were established, while 1.1 million hectares were registered. Furthermore, more than 2 million digital certificates of ownership have been issued, testifying to the acceleration of the digitalization of services. The agency also reached a record turnover of 9.2 billion dirhams, of which 6 billion were directly paid into the general state budget, thus strengthening its crucial role in public financing.

The cumulative achievements of the ANCFCC over recent years confirm its leading role in Morocco's land management. To date, 43% of the country's land titles, or 3.5 million, have been established by the agency. Additionally, land registration covered 11.6 million hectares, representing 62% of the total registered area nationally. The agency also placed particular emphasis on rural areas, with coverage of 214 municipalities through free registration, resulting in the creation of 1.24 million new land titles.

In the forestry sector, the ANCFCC registered 3.8 million hectares, bringing the total to 6.6 million. Collective goods were not left out, with 4 million hectares registered out of a target of 5 million. These performances were possible thanks to the integration of advanced technologies, notably aerial photography by drones, the use of Mohammed VI A and B satellite images, and the establishment of GNSS stations. The digitalization of processes has also made it possible to modernize services, making interactions with citizens and partners more fluid and efficient.

The ANCFCC has, in recent years, intensified its contributions to national development. The total contribution to the state budget now amounts to 40 billion dirhams, including nearly 30 billion paid directly. At the end of the board meeting, Ahmed El Bouari congratulated all managers and employees for their efforts which made it possible to achieve these remarkable results.
