“We couldn’t see ourselves working behind a window”: in Toulouse, this high-end hair salon looks like anything but a hair salon

the essential
Located in the heart of , the Marion Gautier salon redefines the hairdressing experience by combining luxury and intimacy. This innovative concept is based on a unique framework, designed to offer a personalized cocoon to each client.

Ceilings adorned with ultra-design chandeliers, herringbone parquet flooring, small pedestal tables enhanced with a marble support, black armchairs, rounded mirrors, large powder pink relief paintings, glass partition: the Marion Gautier hair salon looks like everything… except at a hair salon. And for good reason, it is installed in an elegant apartment, located on the third floor of a building on the Place du Capitole (between the Pillon brand and the Crédit Agricole) and offers a breathtaking view of the Place du Capitole. “It's really the little extra, even the big plus. We never tire of it. Everything here has been tailor-made so that each client has their own zone,” announces Gautier Condette.

With Marion Guichot, they opened this hairdressing salon a week ago which they named after their two first names. The two partners are keen to offer “high-end services, with customer support from start to finish, quality products and service in a unique atmosphere”, summarizes Gautier.

A unique place, separated into two spaces

Their living room is certainly unique. It is divided into two parts separated by a glass partition. “Here, we work on everything that involves cutting, blow-drying, coloring… Next to it, is the shampoo, care, massage and rinsing part… We wanted to isolate them without breaking the volume of the space so that the sound of drying -hair, conversations, … do not disturb the relaxed spirit of the second”, continues Gautier.

Marion and Gautier have been in the world of hairdressing for many years and worked together for 11 years. “We decided to join forces to breathe new life into our professional careers.” By creating their own business, they didn't see themselves “doing hair in an environment with a window.” So the couple of friends quickly planned on an apartment “for the extra privacy and confidentiality, the cocoon spirit that it offers. We are less exposed on the street when we are not always at home. advantage,” adds the hairdresser. “This project is the one of a lifetime, we thought about it for a long time,” adds Marion.

Marion and Gautier already have many Toulouse customers (and customers) who discovered them via social networks. “They are mainly between 25 and 55 years old. It’s mixed,” explains the hairdresser. Here for a cut and a blow-dry, it costs €70 and €74 for long hair. For coloring, you have to add €53.
Appointments are made via the Planity platform or by telephone. While many hair salons are suffering and having difficulty recruiting, they, barely open, are already full until the end of December. “It’s a great first victory at the start,” rejoices Gautier.
