The iON GT is made from 77% recycled and renewable raw materials. Hankook engineers integrated innovations such as bio-sourced silica, recycled PET textile ropes from plastic waste, and bio-circular synthetic rubber. By integrating circular carbon black, recovered from end-of-life tires, Hankook confirms its commitment to responsible production.
The iON GT has a Triple A rating in the European tire label, the maximum rating for rolling resistance, wet grip and sound comfort. Thanks to technologies such as Round Even, which guarantees uniform pressure on the road, and Grip Boost, which improves rigidity when cornering, this tire offers a safe and economical driving experience.
To meet the expectations of modern drivers, the iON GT incorporates Hankook i Sound Absorber technology, significantly reducing the noise emitted by the tires. This innovation guarantees a driving experience that is as quiet as it is pleasant, ideal for all types of engines.
In addition to its technical performance, the iON GT was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2024 in the Product Design category, recognizing its modern aesthetic and exceptional functionality.
