Casablanca hosted, on Wednesday, a landmark event for online commerce in Morocco. The Chinese giant Alibaba announced its official deployment in the country, during a meeting organized in partnership with the Moroccan Confederation of Exporters (ASMEX) and the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE).

This initiative aims to integrate Morocco into Alibaba’s vast international network, which already operates in many countries. The group focuses on supporting Moroccan companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in order to enable them to access new markets and strengthen their presence in already explored territories, such as Europe. .
