Electric car: “To try it is to adopt it” according to a Belgian study

We who have the opportunity to take the wheel of new models launched on the market regularly affirm it: the electric car brings its share of pleasure, despite its faults. But when it’s a study carried out among real daily users who say it, with supporting figures, the message is obviously stronger.

“This time there will be electric cars at affordable prices”: the Auto Show marks its big return

A study carried out by D’Ieteren among 1,639 electric car drivers delivers a clear verdict: 83% of respondents would choose an electric car again if they had to change. Among them, a majority of “fleet” users (professionals and company cars) since taxation now favors this type of engine for companies. This is also the argument most often cited by the sample as to the motivation for their choice (52%). But there are also individuals (272). The latter are also those who say they are the most satisfied with their purchase: 46% rate their satisfaction between 9 and 10/10. We can see a certain logic in this insofar as they knowingly and freely chose their vehicle. However, the figures show that even fleet customers, “forced” to go electric, are very satisfied with use: 50% of them give a rating of 7 or 8/10, and 29% will even up to 9 and 10/10. Nationally, the disappointment rate (less than 6/10) is only 20%.
