The Southeast New City project in Bac Ninh province will develop according to the K-City model of the Republic of Korea.

This project will be implemented with the participation of the General Land and Housing Corporation of South Korea, as well as 23 South Korean companies and organizations. This is the first time that a Korean urban model (K-City) has been applied on an international scale, over an area of 800 hectares.
The Southeast Bac Ninh New Town project is part of cooperation between the two governments. The aim is to reduce risks and open up prospects for exporting the K-City model globally.
In addition to promoting the development of the construction, materials, equipment, technology and smart city sectors, the creation of the Southeast Bac Ninh New Town is expected to generate a strong economic impact, both before and after its completion, contributing significantly to job creation.
Furthermore, this project benefits from the participation of around twenty companies, including Posco E&C, Daewoo E&C, Korea Eximbank, Woori Bank, Daebang, Kumho E&C, Golfzon Vietnam, NHO, etc.
