Air Arabia announces a new direct connection between Fez and Milan-Bergamo

Air Arabia, the first low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, has launched a new direct route between Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco, and Milan-Bergamo in Italy, we read in a press release. After Casablanca, Fez thus becomes the second Moroccan city to benefit from a service to this Italian destination.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 18 at Fez-Saïs airport before the inaugural flight. On its arrival, the aircraft was greeted with a traditional water jet ceremony, notes the press release.

This new connection, operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, offers an advantageous timetable for travelers. Flight 3O 447 leaves Fez at 1:45 p.m. to arrive in Milan-Bergamo at 4:40 p.m., while return flight 3O 448 leaves Milan-Bergamo at 5:30 p.m. to land in Fez at 8:25 p.m. These flights are operated by Airbus A320, according to the press release.

By connecting two cities with exceptional cultural and historical heritage, Air Arabia intends to strengthen economic and tourist links between Morocco and Italy. Fez, with its medina listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and Al Quaraouiyine University, offers an immersion in Moroccan millennia-old history. For its part, Milan-Bergamo seduces with its fortified Città Alta and its architectural gems.

Tickets are already available on Air Arabia’s official website, its mobile application and at approved travel agencies.
