The financial institution, Tamwilcom opened this Wednesday, as part of strengthening its regional presence, a new business center in Errachidia.
The inauguration of this new regional structure brings the total number of the institution’s business centers to ten across the Kingdom.
The inauguration ceremony of this Center, illustrating Tamwilcom’s desire to play a local role for the benefit of the economic fabric of the region, was marked by the presence of representatives of local authorities, the Regional Council, the Center Regional Investment Authority (CRI), the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) in addition to several regional financial and institutional players.
The event was an opportunity to highlight Tamwilcom’s commitment to the development of the economic fabric at the regional level as well as the role that this new structure will have to play with financial partners with a view to facilitating access for very small businesses. and local medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for financing, to stimulate business creation and to boost investment.
Speaking on this occasion, the general director of Tamwilcom, Hicham Zanati Serghini, indicated that this financial institution is committed to the implementation of the promising project of advanced regionalization in accordance with the High Royal Guidelines, through the launch since 2010 of very first business centers at the regional level.
The inauguration of this new center in Errachidia, he continued, is part of the strengthening of the proximity policy, the support of the regional economic fabric, the stimulation of investments and the facilitation of business access to sources of financing through innovative, efficient solutions adapted to business needs.
He also highlighted the specificities of the economic landscape of the Drâa-Tafilalet region in particular in terms of renewable energies, the film industry, natural heritage and tourist and cultural assets, expressing the provision of Tamwilcom to work together with all local stakeholders to achieve the expected sustainable development.
For his part, the vice-president of the Council of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, Rachidi Hassani, affirmed that the inauguration of the said business center contributes to the strengthening of socio-economic development at the level of the region, noting that Drâa- Tafilalet contains significant human and natural potential which should be exploited to stimulate investments and create more jobs.
He also pleaded in favor of strengthening the economic attractiveness of the region, the creation of industrial and artisanal economic zones, the granting of more tax incentives for the benefit of investors and the strengthening of service aerial view of the region.
For his part, the head of the investor support division at the CRI of Drâa-Tafilalet, Badr Bejioui noted that the new Tamwilcom business center located in Errachidia would allow emerging companies to have more chances to obtain financing adapted to their needs, noting that the CRI is fully engaged with Tamwilcom to support investors in the development of their projects.
On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the new Errachidia business center, a meeting was organized by Tamwilcom aimed at discussing the specificities of the region, and the needs of businesses in terms of financing, while providing all the the necessary light on Tamwilcom’s product offering and all the guarantee and financing mechanisms available to support TMPE projects.
Tamwilcom, a public financial institution governed by banking law, aims to support strategic priorities and public policies in terms of facilitating access to different sources of financing.
