Mundiapolis Job Fair: adaptation to technological requirements, a must

Nourishing the entrepreneurial spirit among young people is a necessity. This was the message conveyed during the 14th edition of the Mundiapolis University Job Fair. Placed under the theme of artificial intelligence, this event brought together renowned companies to support students in facing the challenges and opportunities of technological advances in order to have the required skills.

For the 14th edition of Job Fair, its recruitment forum, Mundiapolis University held this event under the theme “Market evolution in the era of artificial intelligence”. A technology that is starting to gain ground in all sectors of activity, hence the importance of informing future graduates about the opportunities and challenges generated by these new advances in the professional world.

“Artificial intelligence today represents not only a trend, but a phenomenon that will impact and change working methods within companies. Students and laureates must be prepared for the advent of these technologies to integrate them into their professional approaches and project themselves as executives capable of using artificial intelligence as a tool for improving performance and facilitating coordination. In this sense, we are delighted to receive pioneering companies in Morocco to share their experience,” declared Abdelmounim Belalia, Director General of Mundiapolis University.

Shift of paradigms
Among the renowned companies that took part in this event, H&S Invest Holding, with which a partnership agreement was concluded. Moncef Belkhayat, president of H&S Invest Holding and guest of honor at the Job Fair, highlighted, while addressing the future winners, the evolution of the market in recent years and its new requirements. From this perspective, he did not fail to provide useful advice for professional life, mainly emphasizing the ability to adapt within an organization.

“In the world of work, it is crucial to continue learning to offer added value to the employer. Bringing innovation and intelligence is also a major asset. It is our duty to provide feedback on the skills needs of companies. The objective is also to build a bridge between the university and the business world,” underlined Belkhayat.

The businessman insisted on strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit among young people, which should be an end in itself during their professional career. According to him, diversifying professional experiences, particularly abroad, then returning home to launch into entrepreneurship, is an approach to be encouraged.

This culture must also be anchored in the morals of future generations, which requires the involvement of the entire educational ecosystem to change the mindset of both students and teachers. As for new technological trends, notably AI, Belkhayat stressed that due to upcoming deadlines, universities and businesses must act in synergy to accelerate the pace and adapt to change. “There is no choice but to invest in artificial intelligence to improve productivity.”

In this sense, the agreement with Mundiapolis University covers, in addition to recruitment, also research and development. For Abdelmounim Belalia, this strategic partnership allows the group to benefit from the training provided by the university. The forum was marked by the signing of several partnerships with other partner companies with a view to strengthening collaboration with the private sector.

The event was also punctuated by enriching activities, notably the 6th edition of Job dating, an innovative recruitment approach specially designed for students at the end of their academic career. Around thirty preselected students presented their professional projects.
