Prime Video subscribers had a little exclusive surprise by discovering the Anatomy of a Comeback series. The documentary, which retraces the last four years of Renault, which came close to clinical death, has been available on the streaming platform since December 13.

In its fourth episode, we see Luca de Meo, boss of the Renault group, Fabrice Cambolive, CEO of the Renault brand and Gilles Vidal, vice-president of design, discover together the future Renault 5 Turbo 3E. A model which Luca de Meo confirms will soon arrive in series.

The long-awaited return of the R5 Turbo

The Renault 5 Turbo returns 44 years after its launch, in a completely different version with which the Losange shares its desire “to fill up on adrenaline, ultimate sensations and lightning acceleration.”

The car will be 100% electric and equipped with two motors in the rear wheels which will provide it with a total power of more than 500 horsepower. The R5 Turbo E3 will reach 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds. More information will be communicated in the coming months.
