According to figures from the Association of Vehicle Importers in Morocco (AIVAM):
– For passenger vehicles, cumulative sales at the end of June amount to 74,048 units, or a decrease of 0.24% year-on-year.
– For LCVs (light utility vehicles), 8,238 units were sold during the first four months of the current year, up 14.54% year-on-year.
In June alone, 17,368 units were sold, indicating a decrease of 0.15% compared to June 2023, when 17,394 units were sold.
VP sales recorded a decrease of 0.04% with 15,855 units sold in June 2024. The light commercial vehicle is also experiencing a decrease of 1.25% with 1,513 units.
Dacia tops sales
As usual, Dacia ranks at the top of sales, with 19.732 VP sold in June 2024, recording an increase of 12,02% compared to June 2023.
Renault and Hyundai occupy 2nd and 3rd place, with 11,657 (-19.4%) and 5,933 (-33.85%) passenger vehicle sales in June 2024.
