Launched in July 2019 by La Poste, the little sister of La Banque Postale has managed to attract 675,000 customers. Offering advantageous rates and free bank cards, Ma French Bank quickly faced significant financial difficulties, something which forced the parent company to announce the disappearance of this subsidiary last December.
Customers of this online bank can rest assured, their money is safe. In fact, since January, all people who hold a Ma French Bank account have received instructions to follow. Clearly, customers of this online bank have until summer 2025 to transfer their funds to another bank account.
La Banque Postale makes an interesting offer to customers of Ma French Bank
“The customer has a maximum period of 4 months to close their account once informed by Ma French Bank. A reminder system is provided by email, post and via the application, in order to encourage the customer to provide the elements necessary to transfer their balance. Until the closure of his account, he will have access to the usual account management functionalities and will be able to access his financial assets without restriction,” details the group’s communication.
For customers who still do not know where to transfer their money, La Poste is offering Ma French Bank customers the opportunity to switch to Banque Postale, benefiting from 50 euros offered and free payments and withdrawals made abroad until December 31, 2024. In addition, for subscribing to a La Poste Mobile telephone plan, customers will be entitled to two months of free subscriptions. La Banque Postale indicated that all Ma French Bank customers have been informed of these offers.
